It has been a very long time since I have updated this journal, a shame I know. But so very much around me has been going on in the realms of SL. I've seen Babbage change more times then I can remember.

I'm very pleased to say that the New Babbage Majestic Navy is now rolling along very well indeed. There are some concerns, but I'm sure each of them can be, and will be overcome. The ship has taken a lot of shape since the last time I wrote, and I think she will be sea worthy quite soon. The next thing to try and work out is where she will be docked. However I must work this out in time. It's not something I think should be rushed.

However, I have a wonderful start to my crew, I already have a senior staff. Which only entails a small amount of people at the moment, but thats all I need until the Navy personal expands a lot more.

Thus far I have:-

1st Lt. Slade.
Marine Lt. Moyer.
Marine Sgt. Rau.

Not many as I said, however I may take on a 2nd Lt, I just hope that people sign up. One good thing is a person came to Babbage looking to sign up. Lucky for him I was near the TP hub in the Canal district at the time communicating with Miss Rossini via IM.
A lot of other wonderful things have arrived too, Lt. Moyer made the standard Uniform, and the add on bits for the officers. Also she is turning Empire House in to a type of Admiralty House, which should help fund the land(water) the ship will be on. The last time I spoke with Lt. Moyer there was to be, Rooms to let for the Marines and Seamen, very small, but better then you'd get on a ship, you only get a bunk on a ship ;)
Then space for a Wardroom, and the Admiral's office. I have insisted that Lt. Moyer should have her own office, with her being head of the Marines, however I'm not sure if that'll happen.

Now for more personal things I think... Yesterday I attended the town meeting in Babbage, although the Mayor had connection issues, so things over ran, Lt. Moyer and myself left before it finished to go and speak with Lt Slade. I was invited to go to a Naval activity in Caledon by Dame Lapin, however, I didn't make it due to the meeting in Babbage, and then going over things with Mr Slade. A great shame, I'm sure I'd of had a wonderful time in Caledon, and I feel bad for letting Lapin down. I'm sure she'll understand, still the feeling is there.

I have also been looking around many places with Miss Rossini when I can, such a very intelligent Lady is Miss Rossini. She has sort of become like a chief advisor to me on many things. I'm blessed with her friendship.
I don't get to explore as much as I used too do. However I did buy a Comet class air ship from Mr Slades shop, and I had a wonderful time looking over Caledon yesterday. I even found myself in Regancy where I found the Burton estate, I was quite excited at finding Miss Burtons home. I didn't expect to do so, just fate one would have to guess at.

Miss Burton, goodness me... this is a topic I shall enjoy! Miss Burton and I spent sometime together last week, I took her for a tour around Babbage (which is a little out of date now as Babbage has changed again since!!). I had a wonderful time. I'm sure that Miss Burton did also. I fear I have overloaded my conversation with Miss Burtons name with a few of my friends, as I am so spell bounded by her! Miss Burton took some pictures while she was in Babbage, of the sunset. She also fell pray to Mr Mayo's alt AV's trap in Babbage square. But she was safe, and was able to dry herself quickly.
I bought a steam ship, and I hope to be able go sailing with her soon. Also we plan on exploring some places too. Regardless of where I am with Miss Burton though.. I'm more then happy! I only wish I could truly convey my thoughts and feelings of Miss Burton into this journal.

And to quickly finish up, I met Miss Tombola. A very talented lady when it comes to horse'. Since Dame Lapin first suggested going to Eyre and looking at what was on sale, I have bought 3 of the selection that is there, and a dual rider, plus a Captains Uniform.

Now I think I have been able to leave a good enough update, I think I shall leave it here, no pictures in this journal I fear as I have had trouble uploading the first roll of pictures I took, due to the size of them, an error on my own part I fear. Still more to come.

Titanas Vella.

After speaking with the Mayor of New Babbage again today, I have decied which type of ship to have. It's kind of a hybird between the old style wooden Ship of the Line and the Ironclad. For thoughs that are interested in the details, please ask, I'll happly show you the page I have read about this.

I have altered two pictures prefixs as when I take photo's they always save in .bmg, which of course takes ages to upload. so if I can change them and upload them alright, I should be able to upload more pictures. One can olny hope. So here is my first test:-

.

This picture is of my very good and first friend I made on SL, Parker Pointe, she is an Adventurer and (in my opinion, she does not agree) Master builder. I always enjoy spending time and talking with her. Parker has two shops one in Babbage, the other I don't remember, as I normally travel by TP link.

Anyway my second test will be when I am able to upload a user icon.

Anyway, it's quite late now, so I will finish my scribbling here.

Yrs

T.
Yesterday while spending time in New Babbage, I met the Mayor. A most pleasant fellow, and I am pleased that I was able to discuss my idea of creating a Navy within the New Babbage community. Right now, I'm simply looking for ships and items I may need. However once my budget is renewed for next month, I should be able to get things rolling quite well, and then I just need people for Officers, Marines & of course the crew.

I have explored a little the past few days although no major venture I must declare. I have spent most my time in Babbage, what with the currant situation being what it is. I have also spent some time in Caledon, I attended Dame Lapin Paris' party for her friends, as not everybody may attend her knighthood ceremony. It was an honor to be invited. Dame Paris has always been very kind and helpful since I arrived on SL.

I intend to write again soon.

Yrs

Titanas Vella

Today I traveled to Steelhead with Miss Moyer. I have been twice before to Steelhead, and it's a very pleasant realm indeed. It was the first time Miss Moyer had visited the area though, I think she was pleased with what she saw in the time limit she had.

I took this picture while I was there.

I have many other pictures which I have yet to upload, I attempted to do so yesterday, however the files are quite big, and require altering before I can post them.

Yrs

Mr T.
